3-day Training of 28 representatives of Community Based Child Protection Structures

28 Community Based Child Protection Structures (CBCPS) were strengthened in Ibadan Northwest and Ido LGAs of Oyo State with a quality assurance system in place for social service work, including at community level

As a result, 14,723 girls and women have received prevention and protection services on female genital mutilation through UNICEF-supported programmes.

These Services includes Social Services such as Providing psychosocial support, Organising parenting programme, support to at risk children & families (helpline services, rescue mission, temporary rescue shelter).

Legal Services: access to police and reporting mechanisms, referrals to support services and investigating and evidence gathering
