1-day Orientation meetings with the executives of Community-Based Organizations (youth & women) to create awareness on Movement for Good, community surveillance on Female Genital Mutilation, advocacy and reporting on elimination of Female Genital Mutilation, child marriage, Gender-based Violence and Violence against Women and Children and development of Action plan
LOCATION: Ibarapa North LGA (Ayete and Igangan Communities), Ibarapa East LGA (Eruwa and Lanlate Communities) and Kajola LGA (Gbonje and Ilero Communities)
The Empowered Youth Activists and Community Based Organizations conducted Community outreach meetings to sensitize the members of 100 groups per community (These targeted groups includes schools, markets, worship centres, health facilities, local events, Female Genital Mutilation, child marriage, Gender-based Violence and Violence against Women and Children survivors etc) in Ibarapa North LGA (Ayete and Igangan Communities), Ibarapa East LGA (Eruwa and Lanlate Communities) and Kajola LGA (Gbonje and Ilero Communities).
They were also supported to facilitate reflective dialogues on ending Female Genital Mutilation, child marriage, Gender-based Violence and Violence against Women and Children and other harmful practices that affect girls and women at the regular meeting of natural community groups (social, religious, business, cultural, etc) and promote M4Good
