The Trailblazer Initiative Nigeria (TBI) in collaboration with Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion with support from UNICEF Nigeria is calling on members of Community-based organizations, youth groups, grassroot organizations, clubs and associations in Oluyole, Ido, Olorunsogo and Saki-East LGAs of Oyo state to apply and collaborate with us as community facilitators(Volunteer(s)) in implementing FGM elimination programs in designated communities listed below;

Trailblazer Initiative Nigeria (TBI) is committed to elimination of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) through community-driven initiatives that foster awareness, education, and empowerment.
This application form is designed to help us to identify and select community-based organizations with the capacity, commitment, and local knowledge to effectively implement FGM elimination interventions. Selected volunteers will receive training and work alongside TBI to engage communities, to conduct reflect dialogue, raise awareness about the dangers of FGM, and promote alternative rites of passage.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a member of a community-based organization, youth groups, grassroot organizations, clubs and associations (youth-led, women-led or Male-focused) operating and resident in aforementioned communities within Oluyole, Ido, Olorunsogo and Saki-East LGAs.
- Must have internet enabled phone (Android/iPhone) and have access to Internet
- Must have good writing skills and be fluent in English and any other Nigerian language (e.g. Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba)
- Be resident in any of the intervention communities
- Have passion for volunteering and willing to volunteer for at least 3 months
- Demonstrated experience in community mobilization, health education, or women’s empowerment programs.
- Capacity to organize and conduct awareness campaigns, workshops, and community dialogues.
- Commitment to the principles of human rights and gender equality.
