Are you up for Nigeria’s Youth Futures Fund – Imaginative Futures Working Group?
Nigeria’s Youth Futures Fund seeks to support young people in Nigeria for outcome-driven policy engagements by mainstreaming their voices into the development of Nigeria’s short, medium and long term Agenda, “National Development Plan 2021-2025, or the Nigeria Agenda 2050” and into the implementation of the “African Union Agenda 2063, Africa-EU Partnership, AfCFTA and the UN SDGs”.
The regional imaginative futures working group will comprise of inclusively selected young leaders representing each state in their geo-political region and who cut across different sectors (Public, private and the social sector) but have in common a track record of excellence, civic participation and identify with the youth constituency in their region. While these will not be the only or exclusive selection criteria, we are seeking young people within the age of 18-35 years with a broad understanding of the challenges faced by young Nigerians with peculiarities of their sub-regions, nuanced understanding of the socio-political dynamics and complexities of the country, track record of activism, high level political participation, exercise considerable influence within Nigeria youth Ecosystem, and familiarity with Nigeria’s policy space.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Young Change Makers between the agreed Youth age range 18 to 35 years.
* Must be a resident or indigene of a state to represent the region.
