Call for Participation: Project Empower Copa Oyo State

Application is hereby welcomed from interested National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members and youths in Oyo State who are willing to participate in Project Empower Copa.

Project Empower Copa is a six weekend free certified vocational training program in bid to empower Corps members and Youths,  and reduce job unemployment. (More details at http://trailblazer.blog.com/our-projects/project-empower-copa/)

This project seeks to train interested corps members  and youths in Oyo State in the following areas:

1. Bead making

2. Barbering/Haircut

3. Interior/Exterior Decoration

4. Cake making

5. Make-Up art

Venue

Ikolaba Grammar School, Opposite NYSC Ibadan North Zonal Office, along government house road, Agodi, Ibadan.

Date and Time

Sundays 10th of June 2012 to 15th July 2012 from 2pm to 5pm

PLEASE NOTE :

This program is a free certified training, trainees are not expected to pay for this training, however participants will have to pay for the materials they are going to use during their practical classes and their certificate. It is also important to mention that training manuals will be made available at affordable price…

1. Olakitan Kolawole :

She is a University graduate and an Event and Confectionary consultant who has been into the business for close to a decade. Olaitan is the Director of Operations at Treasury Hands Confectionaires and Events an organization that specializes in;

* Beads/ Wire Works

* Small Chops/Snacks

* Decorations/Catering

* Chapman

She is a proffessional trainer and loves to impact her generation positively! Olaitan and THC&E will take participants through Make Up and Decorations.

2. Kunle Olowe

Kunle is a proffessional cake maker who has been into the bussiness of cake making for few years and he’s making waves in the industry. Kunle is a serving corper in Oyo State and the C.E.O of Kunley Cakes.

3. Omotayo Monisola


Monisola is a university graduate and a professional designer who specializes on Wireworks (jewelry). Monisola is the CEO of Monny Beads and Wirework. She is the instructor for Bead making & Wireworks class.

4. Dare Ola-Adaraamoye

Dare is the conveyner of Project Empower Copa. A passionate humanitarian service ambassador, aside being a speaker, writer and positive change agent, Dare is a trained proffessional barber! He will be taking participants through the act of barbering/hair cut
