Call for Volunteer: Project Empower COPA Ondo State

Volunteers are needed as Instructor/Facilitator for Project Empower COPA in Akure, Ondo State.

Project Empower COPA Ondo is a Free Certified Vocational Empowerment Training Program organized by ACME Consult and Trailblazer Initiatives Nigeria for NYSC members, Youths and Every one who desires knowledge.

This project came into being because of our passion to make positive change inevitable in our society and make life better for our generation and the coming ones. Available Statistics form the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in year 2011, 23.9% Nigeria youths are unemployed, out of which just 0.1% ply vocational trade while about 20% are Post-Secondary School/First Degree holders. From this statistics, we believe we can combat unemployment by empowering our youths to create jobs, therefore, this project seeks to:

• Empower Youths Vocationally

• Combat and Decrease Unemployment by creating more jobs in Nigeria

• Help youths maximize their potential(s)

We are using this medium to seek volunteers who are residents of Ondo State or its environs that will team up with us to training participants of this program two weekends by August 2012 on any of the following courses:

• Web Designing (using blog.com, blogspot.com and wordpress.com )

• Soap Making

• Cake Making

• Beads/Wire-works Making

• Interior & Exterior Decoration

• Insecticides Production
