The future of every nation depends on the child children of today. It saddens my heart the way our children are being treated in this nation; Nigeria. Its not right the way they are treated but we (you & I) have to make it right because it is our responsibility.
Government has failed us! Must we fail ourselves too? Its time we start thinking of what we do for the government and the nation rather sitting down shouting and criticising government because we are waiting for what they can do for us. Nope it will not work like that! We must all rise up in unity and accept responsibilities for our dear nation and its future (the children of today!!!
Few hours ago, I knew the worth of just #100 that doesn’t matter to most of us. The Matron of one of the neglected orphanages we adopted for funding in Kwara State, called to tell me that a baby was brought in few hours ago and the father of the said baby threw the new born baby to a dog just because the baby is girl! Is it her fault?
Before people could rescue this baby, dog had bitten her. She was taken to a hospital where she received treatment, all they need to complete money for her drug and safe her life is just #100!
It is time we stop child abuse, molestation, malnutrition, trafficking e.t.c. To make things Right for children in Nigeria, we must advocate their Right!
