We use advocacy as a tool to make a positive impact on policy making and bring about the desired refinement in the policies that are being implemented, drafted or discussed. Therefore it is vital in helping us reach our overall vision.
We contribute to the overall development of a community through their engagement in social issues via Grass root linkages, Participatory approach, Community engagement, Community trust, and Long-term commitment to programmes.
Our Capacity Building and Training Programme enables people, communities and organizations to strengthen their capabilities to develop, implement and maintain effective healthy living. Our programme also provides guidance and support on preventing and responding to disasters, conflicts and other humanitarian emergencies.
We believe in bridging the gaps between local, national, regional and international levels to make greater prosperity accessible to all people.
We believe Western-led development is insufficient, and we must expand who is at the table to innovate solutions to today’s challenges. We think globally and act locally to solve local problems.
We believe our success is only possible through partnership, and maintaining transparency is a sign of respect and good faith.
We believe that a world without barriers should not be a luxury but a right. We are doing our bit to ensure that disability does not entail disadvantage. We are working to advance the rights of persons with disabilities (PWDs) in our society and in the larger scheme of national development, through micro level social intervention.
We empower underprivileged/vulnerable women and youths by providing them with tools and skills to promote economic stability and self-sufficiency.
We believe that local communities hold invaluable knowledge and history that must be celebrated in pursuing sustainable development.
We invite you to #Act2EndFGM, Act now here!
