Oyo NYCN Organises Training on Entrepreneurship

he National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Oyo State Chapter in partnership with SEAD Africa and Wave Academy, have organized organised a five-day free training program on employability and entrepreneurship in Ibadan, Oyo state.

This was made known in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, NYCN Oyo State Chapter, Comrade AbdulQuadri AbdulSalam and its Publicity Relation Officer, Comrade Odeajo Israel.

Comrade AbdulSalam and Comrade Israel, said the program was designed to empower the youth with relevant skills that will enable them succeed in their careers or businesses.

According to them, “the sessions were insightful and impactful, as the participants were taken through the essentials of entrepreneurship and employability skills. “

“The topics covered in the program include how to generate business ideas, Self Awareness & Emotional intelligence, Business plan and CV Writing, Problem Solving Skills, Effective Communication, Team Work & Group Presentation.”

The statement noted that a seasoned entrepreneur and business coach, Dr. Olagoke-Adaramoye Dare, took the participants through the process of generating business ideas and shared practical tips and strategies on how to identify profitable business ideas and turn them into viable businesses.

It added that, SEAD Africa, an organization that focuses on leadership and personal development, also facilitated a session on Self Awareness & Emotional intelligence.
