We are in awe of the progress made and the level of the acceptance of the #EndFGM #EndGBV #EndVAWC and #endchildmarriage programme sponsored by UNICEF Nigeria
On 15th of March 2023, our Youth Activist Oyalowo Sulaiman Lekan Sullek led advocacy and sensitization to Igangan High School, Igangan of Ibarapa North local government area of Oyo State.
The session was very engaging as students had opportunities to ask questions bothering their mind.
The staff of school also testified to the fact that the senstization session has helped them in laying more emphasis on the issues discussed especially child marriage.
The Senior Prefect (Girl) who spoke on behalf of the students appreciated Trailblazer Initiative Nigeria and @UNICEF_Nigeria for bring the program to their school at the right time. She implored every other students to make use of all that they have learnt because program is an eye opener. They vowed to support the programme on the elimination of Female Genital Mutilation, Gender-based Violence, Violence against Women & girl child and Child Marriage by sensitizing their peers and household as well.
