Early today, Comrade Abdulsalam Abdulquadri – one of our Youth Activists who also is the State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter was at Independent State based Peace Committee Oyo State meeting held at CAN Secretariat beside total filling station ijokodo junction, Ibadan where he held Relective Dialogue on the elimination of Female Gential Mutilation, Gender-Based Violence, Child Marriage and Violence against Women and Children with the Religious Leaders present.
The meeting afforded the religious leaders to ask questions and seek clarifications on the subject matters.
At the end of the meeting, religious leaders and stakeholders present reached a consensus that o Female Gential Mutilation, Gender-Based Violence, Child Marriage and Violence against Women and Children is a crime against humanity and is an act that puts peace in jeopardy.
They all concluded to #EndFGM, #endGBV, #EndVAWC and #EndChildMarriage and also become an engavelist of the campaign in Oyo State.
