The National Youth Policy (NYP), the working document that guides the activities of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development and the Federal Government as it relates to Youth Development and Empowerment, is currently under review.
The huge gap between the Federal Government and Nigerian Youth has been attributed to the fact that the current NYP (under review) did not cover so many thematic areas that affect the Nigerian Youth.
Hence, the Hon. Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, is poised to ensure that millions of Nigerian Youth contribute their views in the ongoing review so as to ensure a National Youth Policy that is Nigerian in nature and Youth-oriented.
